Child Safety Standards

Last modified: January 7, 2026

At Checkt, we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We have a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit any content or behavior that exploits, endangers, or harms children.

Our Policy

We actively monitor our platform for potential violations and take immediate action against any user found to be distributing, promoting, or engaging with CSAM or CSAE content. Our actions include:

  • Immediate and permanent ban of the offending account.
  • Removal of all associated content.
  • Reporting the incident and user details to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant regional or national authorities.

Checkt complies with all relevant child safety laws and regulations.

How to Report

We encourage all users to report any suspicious behavior or content immediately. Checkt provides in-app reporting mechanisms to facilitate this.

In-App Reporting

You can report a user directly from within the chat or profile view:

  1. Open the chat or profile of the user you wish to report.
  2. Tap the options menu (usually represented by three dots or a shield icon).
  3. Select Report.
  4. Choose the reason (e.g., "Inappropriate messages", "Harassment", or "Other") and provide any relevant details.
